About The Pause Project for Teens
You’ve probably heard of neuroplasticity—your brain’s life-long ability to adapt by strengthening certain circuits and weakening others. The Pause Project is based on Positive Intelligence®, a framework which works through micro-plasticity: tiny, consistent mental reps that literally rewire your brain so the pause becomes second nature, something you automatically do.
In the small moment of a pause, you get just enough space to notice the mental habits—like pressure, perfectionism, or people-pleasing—that hijack your mood or reactions.

Blending neuroscience, psychology, and performance science, The Pause Project teaches you how small, repeated pauses can reshape your brain, making clarity—not reactivity—your new default. Using quick, 10-second sensory tools, you’ll learn to ground your attention, quiet self-doubt, and bring your steadier self back online. And the best part? These tools blend right into your day, instead of adding another thing to your to-do list.
