About The Thriving Mind Series for Teens

®

Based on Positive Intelligence, a framework developed by Shirzad Chamine, a Stanford lecturer and NY Times bestselling author, Positive Intelligence (often shortened to PQ) blends neuroscience, psychology, and performance science to explain how our minds can either work for us or against us.

The goal is to build mental fitness—strengthening the brain circuits that help you stay calm, focused, and confident (your Sage brain) while quieting the ones that fuel stress, self-doubt, and procrastination (your Saboteurs). You do this through short, simple mental workouts called PQ Reps—10-second mindfulness-style exercises that help you shift from stressed to centered. Think of them as brain reps that make your mind stronger every time you do one.

Best part? PQ tools fit right into your day—no extra homework, no app overload. Just quick, science-based ways to be more in control and show up as your best self at school, with friends, and in life.

The result?

Teens feel more in control, less overwhelmed, and better able to handle whatever life throws their way. This isn't just a new hack. Teens build a skill to carry with them for life.

  • Small Custom Groups — perfect for friends or teams who want to grow together
  • 1:1 Coaching — For deeper focus, flexible scheduling, and tailored goals

All formats use the same neuroscience-based Positive Intelligence framework—adapted for your pace, learning style, and goals. Alternative approaches can be especially supportive for neurodivergent learners who benefit from a calmer pace, individualized support, and time to process ideas more deeply.
